A popular Rice variety, Ponni Par Boiled paddy is grown in Southern states of India, mainly in Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The paddy is first processed in the Paddy Section where high moisture is dried in the unit at a level of 14 degrees Centigrade. Then the hot air steam is passed in the storage tanks of paddy and later to the drier for drying of paddy. this dried paddy is kept for resting and cooling for 24 hours approximately
Later it is milled, sorted and finally graded and packed for sales
